I have a young baby as well as toddlers, do I have to pay for them all ?
NO - we do not charge for very young children. As a rule we regard any child of 4 and under to be a baby and they will be admitted free of charge

How young do you have to be to buy a childs ticket ?
5 - 18 are regarded as children as long as accompanied by an adult. There are no children's tickets available on the night so please purchase in advance

I have bought too many tickets, can i get a refund ?
Sorry, No refunds for any reason, although you can sell them to somebody else

Where can we park free of charge ?
All of the surrounding roads will be subject to parking restrictions, therefore there is no where in the vicinity of Danson Park where you will not have to pay. Please note that parking wardens and tow trucks are on duty so do not be tempted to 'chance it'.

If there is no easy parking how do we get there ?
Danson Park is served by major bus routes and is a 15 minute casual walk from both Welling and Bexleyheath train stations

Are there disabled facilities ?
Yes, we provide disabled toilets and a wheelchair friendly area next to the Boathouse Kiosk. First aiders and stewards are on site to help at all times if needed

How long does the display go on for ?
The display starts at 8pm prompt and lasts approx.25 minutes

I know Danson Park Fireworks is a massive event - Is It safe ?
As with all large public events we advise you to be cautious with valueables etc, however there will be, as always, stewards and security patrolling the event. St Johns Ambulance are on site for medical challenges and we work very closely with all agencies and emergency services to ensure that Danson Park Fireworks remains the safest and most family friendly charitable display in the South East

Can I sell things on the night?
NO!!! Unless you have a contract with Welling Round Table to trade within the park you will not be allowed to trade. We have a joint zero tolerance of unauthorised traders profiting from our charitable efforts therefore any unauthorised traders inside the park, or outside in surrounding areas, will be dealt with by the Police and Council Enforcement officers.

Where does the events profit go?
Organised by members of Welling Round Table, ( the Danson Park fireworks display is a charity event that raises money for good causes in the local community. This event is expensive! So once Welling Round Table has deducted the costs all remaining money goes into our Charitable Trust and is used to help the local community and other worthwhile causes. Are dogs welcome?
No Dogs are not allowed.

We work very closely with all agencies and emergency services to ensure that Danson Park Fireworks remains the safest, and most family friendly, charitable display in the South East.
With all large public events common sense prevails. We advise you to be cautious with valuables and to stay with an adult or friends. In addition to stewards and security, St John’s Ambulance are on site for medical issues
